Modern classics - a look back in time
In the 1980s, the Dibbern manufactory made the breakthrough to a lifestyle brand with the Solid Color tableware. To this day, the pure form from the 1930s is still in-keeping with the times and is continuously being expanded with new colors. The colors − more than 40 different shades − are applied by hand to high-quality hard porcelain. One to suit every taste and for every interior! In the mid-1990s, Dibbern bought a porcelain factory in Hohenberg in Bavaria to produce fine bone china. This is the most sophisticated material in porcelain production, both technically and in terms of craftsmanship.

The Dibbern manufactory
Porcelain made in Germany
Fine bone china is probably the most sophisticated product in porcelain production, both technically and in terms of craftsmanship. To this day, the plates are turned in the traditional manner at the manufactory in Bavaria instead of being industrially pressed. The glasses produced are also hand-blown and hand-cut in Europe. Every single step of porcelain craftsmanship, from casting the porcelain blank, to fettling, turning, garnishing, glazing and firing, requires the most meticulous handwork and thus guarantees the highest level of stability and longevity. In line with tradition, the porcelain is finished by hand with various decors. Each of the 43 decor series currently available was created by the company's own design studio and selected international designers.
