Hermès, Carnets d‘Equateur, Bowl 16.5 cm
The painter Robert Dallet captured the wild animals along the equator in many sketches and drawings. They are the inspiration for Carnets d'Equateur: Wild animals like jaguars, macaws or panthers frolic in lush nature ... The various motifs of the service from Hermès can be combined with each other in a variety of ways.
About Hermès
The founder, Thierry Hermès, opened a horse bridle and saddle shop in Paris in 1837. In the 1890s, the range was expanded to include suitcases and leather bags; at the beginning of the 1920s, handbags were added, which are still one of the company's most sought-after products today. The range continued to grow: the famous silk carrés, ties, scents, fashion for women and men, watches and jewelry, and much more. When dining culture was integrated by Hermès in 1982 with "La Table Hermès", this was another milestone in the history of the company. Franzen, which has maintained excellent relationships with many French brands over the years, was the first partner on the German market. In the meantime, Hermès and Franzen have a joint success story spanning more than 30 years. The La Table Hermès services follow the tradition of Hermès: They are elaborately manufactured and always have that special touch. The decorations are designed for each individual piece, i.e. first of all they are drawn. And this is often done by special artists or those who are also responsible for the silk carrés. The highest demands are placed on the porcelain produced in Limoges. And equally strict requirements apply to the decorations, which are developed in small studios. This interplay and the spirit of the Hermès brand make the porcelain creations something very special. And of course we also carry the other brands of the Hermès Group: Puiforcat and St. Louis.
