Developed in 1996 by the Italian designer Enzo Mari in collaboration with the designers at KPM Berlin, it harmoniously combines opposites, just as its designer once did.
The Colors of Berlin collection tells the story of the connection between the porcelain manufactory and its home city. Whether green like the Tiergarten, blue like the lakes of Köpenick, sandy colors like the popular beach in Wannsee or anthracite like the fashionable Mitte district - the BERLIN breakfast cup , designed by Enzo Mari in 1996 and later awarded the iF Design Award, appears in luster colors as a tribute to the urban manufactory district. The cups are as multifaceted as the metropolis itself, where they are still lovingly handcrafted by KPM Berlin today.
Care instructions: To ensure the metallic shimmering luster colors last as long as possible, this iconic cup should be cleaned and dried by hand, and stacking should be avoided to prevent the color from fading and scratches.
