When designing the plates for the URBINO service, designer Trude Petri was inspired by the flagless ceramic plates of the Northern Italian Renaissance. This is why this KPM Berlin collection bears the name of the northern Italian city of Urbino. The dessert plate with a diameter of 19.5 centimeters was decorated with the CANTO pattern. This consists of a fine, black line that outlines the edge of the elegant dessert plate. As the black line is an underglaze decoration, the large dessert plate is also suitable for the dishwasher.
