The theme of birds is currently a recurring element in many of the manufactory's designs and collections. The shape of the mugs was inspired by classicism.
About MEISSEN®
The Meissen manufactory was founded in 1710 by Elector August the Strong and is the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe. Back in 1708, court alchemist Johann Friedrich Böttger created the prerequisite for the production of the "white gold" with the discovery of hard porcelain.
