In 2021, Montblanc is honouring the pioneer Enzo Ferrari. The racing driver and entrepreneur founded the legendary Scuderia Ferrari, laying the foundations for a global automotive empire whose name is synonymous with top quality and a passion for speed. This writing instrument is made of metal with the visual structure of a ‘Ferrari 125 S’ engine. It is a tribute to the great care and expertise with which Ferrari builds its vehicles. The cap is adorned with a Montblanc emblem made of resin, reminiscent of frosted glass and set into a metal grid. The back of the cap shows the famous emblem of Ferrari cars: a rising horse. The metal clip is adorned with a famous quote from Enzo Ferrari: ‘You can't describe passion, you can only experience it’. The fittings are finished in red lacquer, the colour of which is inspired by the red of the first ‘Ferrari 125 S’ vehicle. The cone shows two significant dates from the career of Enzo Ferrari. The handcrafted nib made of solid 750 gold is decorated with an engraving of the ‘Ferrari 250 GTO’ steering wheel and one of Enzo Ferrari's nicknames: ‘Il Commandatore’.
