Augsburg silversmith work bordered by a single or double silver thread was developed very early on in the history of silverware. The fact that this thread is repeated on the rear side and runs out into a shell shape is the unmistakeable proof for those in the know that an item comes from Robbe & Berking. Length: ca. 23.5 cm
